Day 1

Reference Guide: Day 1: Departure from Haridwar/Dehradun to Guptkashi

The spiritual pilgrimage typically begins from the holy city of Haridwar. This reference route involves travelers arriving via Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport. Transport services generally escort pilgrims through Haridwar to Guptkashi, the 'Secret Kashi' of Uttarakhand.

Day 2

Reference Guide: Day 2: The First Dham – From Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham

On the second day of this sample itinerary, the journey leads to Shri Kedarnath. Standard transit typically transfers travelers from Guptkashi to Sonprayag, then to Gaurikund, the base of the trek. A 16 km climb leads to the temple; local options like palkis or mules are usually available for hire.

Day 3
